The story behind CallRecover

It started with a leaking roof. I needed a roofer, and I needed one fast. So I did what most homeowners do, I pulled up a list of local roofers and started calling. Out of the handful I tried, not a single one answered. I didn't leave a voicemail because, honestly, most people don't anymore. And not one of them called me back or even acknowledged that I'd reached out. I moved on to the next company on the list, and someone else got the job.

That experience stuck with me. Those roofers weren't bad at what they did. They were probably on a roof themselves, or driving between jobs, or covered in dust with their phone in the truck. They just had no idea they'd missed a customer who was ready to pay, and no system in place to do anything about it.

I started paying closer attention and realized this problem was everywhere. Plumbers in the middle of a repair. Electricians up on a ladder. HVAC techs with their hands full. Some of the hardest working business owners in the country were losing thousands of dollars a month to missed phone calls. By the time they called back, the homeowner had already booked someone else.

These weren't bad business owners. They were great at what they did. They just didn't have an office manager, a call center, or the budget for a receptionist. They needed something fast, invisible, and effective. Something that could respond to a missed call in seconds and actually sound like a real person from their team.
